2017
If there's one thing Johnny Depp is consistent about, it's his style. The actor has his own way of dressing—and, not surprisingly, furnishing his houses...we've never had a look inside—until now. With a combined 9 bedrooms and 14 baths, the prime top-floor spaces have "direct access to the building’s magnificent sky deck featuring a pool, spa, and fitness studio."

The creative highlight of the room is the faux-finish stenciling that rims the ceiling. Based on a pattern that Auerbach discovered in a book on Yucatan architecture, it was painted by artist Patti Grant. "There isn't a specific word that describes it, like a hieroglyph or something," says Grant. "It's sort of a terra cotta color. It's very slightly distressed and very subtle. We tried to keep it as simplified as possible.

By far the most personal flourish is the breakfast room's folksy mural, painted by decorative artist Patti Grant, who copied innocent wallpaper patterns from the thirties and forties. "We put in Mexican sage, sunflowers, daisies," says Ross. "Then I said, 'Can you add some pigs and a trough?' I was so excited!" Also part of the mural: images of her dogs - Taco and Katie, both Mutts - and even a miniature, pigtailed Ross on a tree swing by a barn.
